The location was unbeatable, with a view of the Cathedral from my room's Juliet balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable. Minor issues with room temperature and service, but the rooftop terrace and helpful staff made up for it. A stylish choice in the heart of Barcelona.

During our recent stay in Barcelona, we chose a hotel located in the heart of the old city center, offering stunning views of the iconic Cathedral. The room was spacious and clean, with a modern bathroom and a small accessible balcony. The rooftop terrace with its breathtaking views of the Cathedral was a highlight, and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and efficient. The hotel's central location allowed us to easily explore nearby attractions like the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas.

Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Colon! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Raquel who gave us great sightseeing tips. The location was perfect, and the breakfast was wonderful. Our room was clean and had a fantastic view. The rooftop bar was a highlight, although the entrance stairs were a bit inconvenient. Despite a sour smell in the room, the overall experience was fantastic.

Omg i l-o-v-e-d the two balconies overlooking the gaudi cathedral at the hotel! such a magical view for my husband's birthday celebration 🎉. Breakfast was very good, but the room was noisy inside 😔. Staff was super friendly though!

The hotel's general areas were beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The soft natural light made it easy for me to navigate around the hotel, and the staff were always ready to assist me if I needed help. The accessibility for senior people was great, with well-kept elevators and spacious corridors, making it easy for me to move around comfortably during my stay.

I would ask for better accommodations for senior people, perhaps more grab bars in the bathroom and a more attentive approach from the children of the staff towards the needs of senior guests.

The staff's help with technical issues made a great first impression. This place suits me perfectly, with Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, spa, and a romantic feel. It has all I need, like flat-screen TV, in-room breakfast, and a bar/lounge for a cozy stay.

I chose this hotel for attending a confab and found the two versatile event halls suitable for various business functions. The central location and convenience were a plus for exploring the city.

I missed having a reliable and high-speed internet connection in the room for efficient work during my stay.

The hotel is perfectly located in the Gothic quarter, with the cathedral right opposite and the historic old city center within walking distance. The metro is relatively close, but it would have been better to stay closer to Liceu station. The upgraded rooms have a lovely view of the church and some have balconies. The staff is young and friendly, providing helpful suggestions and excellent service. The buffet breakfast is delicious, with lots of fresh fruit options.

The older staff at the desk were not as accessible, possibly due to language barriers or lack of female staff members.

The location of this hotel is fabulous, right opposite the Cathedral in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. It's in the very center of the city, making it so convenient to explore Barcelona. The hotel rocked - smack dab in the heart of Barcelona, loved that! The staff were top-notch, upgrading our room and making us feel like VIPs. The room had all the bells and whistles, like a Nespresso machine and a cozy tea-maker, super cool! Just a blip though, drinks on the rooftop were a bit steep price-wise, made me hesitate to hang out there much 🍹.

We stayed at this hotel during the New Year holidays and we had a great experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family of four. The staff was helpful and friendly, always willing to assist with any requests or questions we had. The hotel's location was really good, right in front of a beautiful cathedral and within walking distance of all the key attractions. We enjoyed exploring the city and being able to easily access everything from our hotel.

One aspect that we didn't particularly like was the dated decor in the bar area. It wasn't a very inviting place to sit and relax.

Despite some inconveniences like construction noise and elevator issues, I appreciated the hotel's prime location on Avinguda de Catredal, offering fantastic views of the cathedral and proximity to key attractions. The staff were attentive, breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were cozy and clean.

I recently stayed at Colon Hotel for a few nights during my trip to Barcelona. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, they all spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful bed and a luxurious whirlpool bathtub. I also loved the big terrace in my Superior room, which overlooked the vibrant Cathedral square. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of everything but away from the crowds, making my stay more relaxing. I also appreciated the coffee-machine and tea tray in the room, with complimentary capsules and teabags.

It was within walking distance of most sights and had easy access to public transportation. Our room was comfortable and had modern amenities, including tea and coffee facilities, bathrobes, and slippers. The hotel featured a roof terrace with panoramic views of the area and a lovely cafe where we could relax and watch the activities on the square.
